Dry — boat out of the water
Price on quote — based on your location
An independent professional assessment of the vessel you intend to buy — giving you an objective view of its condition so you can make the right decision or negotiate with confidence. Sometimes the inspection confirms the boat is exactly what you hoped for. Occasionally it reveals something that changes the deal entirely.
- Full engine, hull & trailer visual inspection
- Engine computer report where available (e.g. Evinrude E-TEC) — showing full history, hours, faults & running profiles
- Recommended maintenance schedule for the specific engine
- Parts & labour quote to address any found issues (on request)
- Detailed written inspection report
Pre-purchase inspection
With water test
Price on quote — based on your location
Everything in the dry inspection, plus a full water test. Strongly recommended — some issues can only be found under load on the water: water pressure, full power delivery, trim operation, overheating, engine setup, and propeller sizing. We recommend arranging the inspection at a boat ramp so the water test can be included.
- Everything in the dry inspection
- Water pressure & cooling system check under load
- Full power & throttle response test
- Trim & tilt operation under load
- Overheating check
- Engine setup & propeller sizing assessment
- Detailed written inspection report
