Founder & Marine Engineer
My relationship with engines started at the age of 8 as a go-kart driver. By 12, I was building my own racing engines. What began as a childhood obsession became a lifelong profession — and eventually, a business built entirely around doing things right.
I’ve been working professionally in the marine industry since the mid-1990s, and in Australia since 2004. Over that time I’ve worked across multiple continents — from London to Mallorca to the Danube Delta — in roles from hands-on mechanic to service manager. I’ve test-driven over 3,000 boats and serviced thousands more.
The engineering background means I approach every job differently to most mechanics. I don’t just replace parts — I diagnose systematically, understand root causes, and find solutions that others miss. Several customers have come to me after years of unresolved issues that were fixed in a single visit.
My passion became my profession. It still shows in every job.
Career & background
First engines
Started as a go-kart driver — learning to understand engine behaviour and performance from the seat of a kart.
Building racing engines
Began building and tuning his own competition engines. The foundation of a diagnostic and engineering mindset that still defines every job today.
Into the marine industry
Entered the marine industry professionally, working across outboards, sterndrives, inboards, and diesel engines across multiple brands.
International experience
Worked in London, Mallorca, and the Danube Delta in roles from marine mechanic to service manager — covering everything from performance rigging to commercial vessel maintenance.
Arrived in Australia
Relocated to Sydney, bringing international experience and multi-brand factory training to the Australian marine market.
