By controlling the process we adjust the pressure and flow of the chemical from 300 to 8000 liters per hour according to the engine size to ensure a complete clean out of the entire cooling system (heat exchanger, after cooler, fuel coolers, engine oil coolers, transmission oil coolers, pipes, fuel hoses, water pump housing). The process is the fastest in the industry and guarantees a complete clean within hours. We are also able to monitor control the PH of the chemical to ensure that no damage is done to the components of your engine. The cleaning process uses Target Descaler, a proprietary mixture of acids and other chemicals that only reacts with the lime scale build up inside the cooling system.With the added special ingredients it is formulated to be safe on all types of all the components of a cooling system: gaskets, hoses, pipes, engine parts, coolers and radiators. Target Descaler is safe to use in any type of cooling system and will not damage cooper, brass, cast iron, steel, stainless, rubber or plastics.
UNCONTROLLED
Uncontrolled descaling process means either mechanical tear of the heat exchanger and send it away for acid cleaning or simply soaking the cooling system with either Phosphoric, Hydrochloric or other type of acid that disloves the lime scale. There are a few disadvantages of this methods compared to our process:
- Mechanical tear down of the heat exchanger is labor intensive and can be very expensive and the job can lasts up to few weeks depending on the work load.
- By just removing the heat exchanger to be cleaned, other elements on the cooling system remain clogged and could restrict the flow : after cooler, oil coolers, fuel coolers, pipes, hoses etc.
- Filling the cooling system with acid is better than mechanical tear-down but there are still a few disadvantages because the PH of the acid can't be controlled and the process efficiency drops with the time of the chemical reaction. Simply put, once the acid starts to disolve the limescale it becomes more and more soft and it may not complete the process or if the concentration is too high it may damage the internal components of the cooling system allowing for internal leakage of water into the fuel. oil or engine.
